Mika and Stone was founded by Mika Aloni.

Mika Aloni started as a driven entrepreneur possessing a Home Improvement Salesperson License accredited by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). As a former project manager within the construction industry, she oversaw projects from inception to completion, seamlessly navigating each stage with finesse. Her responsibilities spanned from initial concept development and contract negotiation to liaising with architects and engineers for precise planning. She acquired necessary permits from municipal authorities while coordinating with many tradespeople, including framers, plumbers, electricians, and tilers.

Throughout her tenure, Mika adeptly managed workers, facilitated city inspections, and meticulously organized material deliveries from vendors. Her acute problem-solving skills ensured smooth project progression, mitigating challenges inherent in the construction realm. Notably, Mika identified that many project setbacks stemmed from insufficient comprehension of finished materials among builders.

Recognizing her affinity for project design and her unparalleled proficiency in material sourcing, Mika transitioned her focus from project management to design consultancy. Leveraging her expertise, she began assisting colleagues with design elements, swiftly garnering acclaim within the industry. Word of her talent spread, leading to the establishment of Mika and Stone CDM© – a bespoke Custom Design Manual meticulously crafted to streamline communication between designers and contractors, thereby minimizing errors, delays, and associated costs for clients and contractors alike.
